"The campaign for “tesapack ultra strong” does not require any words to express the qualities of the advertised product. In order to point out at first glance the enormous adhesive strength of the tape, motifs were chosen that represent power and strength: a boxer, a sumo-wrestler and a body-builder. The specific reference to the tape, however, is established above all by the fact that the product itself was used to make or tape the motifs. For the realisation of this idea, the tape was used in a subtle as well as distinctive manner – lending this everyday product an attention-grabbing appeal."

Jonathan Ive/Dieter Rams
